In collaboration with renowned medical specialist Dr. Taimur Shoaib, ICE AESTHETIC offers the medical cryolipolysis at the highest level in Glasgow.
Cryolipolysis – also known as “fat freezing” – is a method, which was developed in order to treat subcutaneous fat pads with targeted freezing. The fatty tissue in the desired area is sucked in and cooled down by an applicator, so that cold sensitive fat cells can be crystallized, destroyed and processed by the lymphatic system of the body following apoptosis. A cryolipolysis package includes: consultation, anamnesis, treatment, after-care and photo documentary.
Fat freezing works without anaesthesia and accompanying risk factors of a surgery. During a 70 minutes fat freezing treatment you can lay back, read, work, and listen to music. After the treatment you are able to continue your daily work and can even resume your sport activities.
Dr. Taimur Shoaib is a fully accredited specialist Consultant Plastic Surgeon on the General Medical Council’s Specialist Register for plastic surgery. He is a former Consultant in the NHS at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary, a Consultant at the Glasgow BMI and Nuffield private hospitals, an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Glasgow and a Faculty Member of the Allergan Medical Institute.
