In collaboration with renowned medical specialist Dr Rita Rakus, ICE AESTHETIC opened its first location in the UK in London.

Dr Rita Rakus has more than 25 years of experience in aesthetic medicine and in the course of the years has specialized in various fields of non-invasive methods. Dr Rakus and her colleague Dr Galyna Selezneva are considered as experts in the field of medical cryolipolysis, who are highly appreciated among specialists. Dr Rita Rakus is a member of the British College of Aesthetic Medicine.

Dr Rita Rakus and Dr Galyna Selezneva offer medical cryolipolysis at the highest level as well as comprehensive service in our ICE AESTHETIC – London Knightsbridge clinic. In order to get the best results for our clients we use the French designed, developed and manufactured CRISTAL® cryolipolysis device from the renowned brand Deleo.

Cryolipolysis – also known as “fat freezing” – is a method, which was developed in order to treat subcutaneous fat pads with targeted freezing. The fatty tissue in the desired area is sucked in and cooled down by an applicator, so that cold sensitive fat cells can be crystallized and processed by the lymphatic system of the body following apoptosis. Body areas that be treated with cryolipolysis include: upper and lower stomach, hips (waist, pelvic crests), inner and outer thighs, chest, the back (also known as fir tree), upper arms, calves/knees, buttocks and chin.

Fat freezing is a non-invasive method without anaesthesia and accompanying risk factors of a surgery. During a 70 minutes fat freezing treatment you can lay back, read, work, and listen to music. After the cryolipolysis treatment you are able to continue your daily work and can even resume your sport activities.
